K2 Solutions Group is a strong supporter of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management concepts. We recognize that some of the issues identified in service management efforts are not unique to ITIL.  They are part of a larger challenge which is based more so on the over-complexity of data and the need for its simplification by transforming the volumes of data into actionable information. Transformation of data into information is the key to our solutions.That is why K2 has chosen to focus on the term "value" when delivering services to our clients.

We believe that ...

blue ... not all organizations function the same way or are designed for the same purpose so there is no "one size fits all" solution that can be delivered. The commonality is that they all must focus on the value they will return to the service owners through simplification and IT Optimization efforts and the environment through the incorporation of sustainability concepts.
blue ... ITIL is a tremendous framework that should be used for beneficial reasons not just because a book says so. Because of this belief, we design ITIL solutions that work for you and your organization so that they return the most possible value to your service owners.
blue ... veering off from the purest of ITIL paths is not wrong as long as you are making conscious decisions as to why you are doing it and that the reasons are based on delivering value to your customer and the service owner.
